Gratitude - Week 64

November 27, 2017

Hey everyone!

I hope you all had a really awesome Thanksgiving! We definitely had a good time! We played some football in the morning with our YSA ward and then we had 3 thanksgiving dinners in a row within 3 hours. I thought it was pretty crazy and also that I was going to explode with the amount of food that I was going to be consuming. It turned out to be not that bad so I was grateful that I survived.

We are seeing our investigators move along which im really grateful to see we had 6 investigators come to church which was really awesome because coming to church is a difficult thing. Im really grateful for the scriptures this week. Its wonderful to be able to read them and liken them to our selves and gain answers and revelation pertaining to the things we are struggling with. We fasted earlier this month to hit our goals for baptisms this month and it was cool to see that for the month of November we hit our goal for 5 baptisms! I can testify that its true that prayer and fasting brings forth so many blessings down from heaven.

Im sorry that I don't have much to add to his email.Other than everything is humming along we are teaching alot and it keeps us busy! There are to many miracles that happen that its hard to write about them. This work is a work of miracles so its kinda a side affect. Im grateful for my mission, my area, my wards and areas that I have covered, im grateful for my companion, and all of my past ones as they have all taught me things that I needed to learn, im grateful for Jesus Christ's Atonement, and how I can be forgiven for my faults and wrong doings. Im grateful for the love and support that I receive from everyone back home and here in Idaho. There is truly a great and lasting happiness that comes into our lives when we keep the commandments. May we all keep the faith.

Keep Smiling,
Elder Gerrard
